Startup Etched has unveiled a new Sohu chip that leaves Nvidia behind. Sohu is 20 times more powerful than Nvidia H100. Generation speed is 500 thousand tokens per second. Such success was achieved thanks to narrow specialization: the chips work exclusively with transforming models, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Sora and others.
