What questions would you ask a person from the future?

If I had the chance to speak with someone from the future, the first thing I’d want to know is what the world looks like in their time. Have issues like climate change, poverty, and war been resolved, or are we facing new and unforeseen challenges? I’d ask about scientific and technological advancements have space travel and interplanetary living become common? Have today’s incurable diseases been defeated?

Another important question would be how humanity has changed are we still divided by cultural and political differences, or have we become a united global society? Finally, I’d ask for their advice: what can we do today to create a better future for ourselves and the generations to come? Such a conversation would be a priceless opportunity to learn and correct our path forward.

I’d start with curiosity about humanity’s fate:

Did we overcome the challenges of today, like climate change or inequality?

What’s life like for ordinary people?

Then I’d ask about their world:

What’s the most surprising thing about the future?

What technologies define your era?


Finally, I’d want to know something personal:

Do people still dream the way we do?

Is there a message you’d bring back to us?


The future isn’t just a mystery it’s a reflection of the choices we make now.
