Can you create a Chainlink-like oracle network but with node operators staking ETH instead of LINK? Intuitively, the security budget of this oracle network would be higher with ETH than LINK

Realized Vitalik talked about the issue with this approach in “Don’t overload Ethereum consensus.” Guessing the issue is particularly prevalent when you are using the same stake for various activities. If a stake is connected to one activity, the risk of issues causing contagion is low
