📰 New Protocol TON Applications Chain (TAC) by Polygon.

The TON Applications Chain (TAC) will use Polygon’s Chain Development Kit (CDK) and AggLayer to create second-layer blockchains and address fragmentation issues. This protocol is designed to integrate EVM-based decentralized applications into the TON ecosystem and will enable Ethereum developers to create programs for Telegram users. The TON team believes TAC will improve liquidity access and accelerate DeFi adoption while paving the way for new applications on the TON blockchain, such as games and decentralized identification solutions.

TAC founder Pavel Altukhov noted that the choice of the Polygon ecosystem was due to its EVM compatibility, AggLayer EVM liquidity, and deployment support. The Polygon community also played a significant role in this decision.
