The Hainan Gibbon, found only on Hainan Island in China, is the world’s rarest primate. Habitat destruction and hunting have nearly wiped them out. These gibbons live in small family units, eating fruit, leaves, and insects. Conservation work focuses on protecting and restoring their forest home to save them from extinction.🐒 😔
