The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index, a semiconductor group, rose more than 1%, even as Wall Street's generative artificial intelligence-led Nvidia plunged more than 3%. Nvidia plunged more than 3%, but other semiconductor stocks rose, with British semiconductor designer ARM jumping 4.0%.
