What are the best ideas from Mastodon, Bsky, and other federated/decentralized social we should consider for Farcaster?

Taking a step back, farcasters on chain ID is its biggest moat by far. On chain identities are very powerful.

Federated social works and can scale because it's very easy to scale because you have proper delivery guarantees and traffic doesnt need to get duplicated. Whats missing are proper nomadic ids.

if farcaster was *federated* where channels were like instances and hubs could subscribe to them AP style i feel like that would solve most of its issues.

bsky tries to address this and it kinda works but it doesnt have a culture of decentralization so it doesnt really matter. activitypub has some nomadic id efforts and its going to be interesting to see where that goes.
