Masks have been important in magico-religious rites to prevent and cure disease. In some cultures, the masked members of secret societies could drive disease demons from entire villages. Among these groups, the best-known was the False Face Society of the Iroquois people. Don't tell me this is ugly. IT'S NOT MINE😄
