Kevin Systrom, born in 1983, co-founded Instagram in 2010 with Mike Krieger. He helped shape Instagram into a leading social media platform before its $1 billion acquisition by Facebook in 2012. Systrom was CEO until 2018. What feature do you think made Instagram so popular?

Instagram became very popular among young people in less than a year because it made it quick and easy to take pictures and share them. Also, the addition of the ability to record and send short videos to the application in 2011 made it even more popular.
