How would you reinvent high school curriculum?

My top picks:
• add personal finance & taxation course
• change English into critical thinking, source verification, and storytelling
• require hands-on entrepreneurship project to graduate a la science fair

What else?

- Personal finance + investments
- Coding bootcamps
- Make maths less abstract, must be applied to the real world
- also, on an unrelated note, bring in voucher system to increase competition amongst schools, allow local control of their own budget/eliminate top down direction from state/federal

oh yeah, any education reform is not just about curriculum but also funding and accountability

It’s also dependent on employers embracing the new skills vs just using a degree or certain subjects as an application filter. 

Benefit would be massive but will be the last industry to change. University also wildly out of date but they have zero incentive to modernise.
