Actually being a peer reviewer of a real journal teaches you a lot about process. It’s a brutal cage fight that builds things like the internet that idiots abuse and take for granted as they argue “the science”. I’m quietly sick of it.

Being a peer reviewer of a real journal is definitely a learning experience. It's a tough process that helps build things like the internet, which unfortunately some people take for granted. It's frustrating to see people arguing about "the science" without really understanding the hard work and scrutiny that goes into research and publication. Peer reviewing can be a thankless task, but it's essential for maintaining the quality and integrity of scientific literature. Despite the challenges, I believe it's important to continue contributing to the peer review process and supporting the advancement of knowledge in our field.
