Vitalik suggests lowering the entry threshold for the bet from 32 to 16-24 ETH

 Perhaps we should recognize that 32 ETH is a much more serious obstacle for stakers than bandwidth requirements, and temporarily conduct a transaction in which we slightly increase the bandwidth requirements and in return reduce the minimum deposit for betting, for example, to 16 or 24 ETH.

Lowering the entry threshold for the bet from 32 to 16-24 ETH could indeed make staking more accessible. It's important to find a balance between requirements to encourage participation. Good suggestion by Vitalik!
