“Requiem for a dream” 🎥 Darren Aronofsky's drama about drug addiction. It's summer on the outskirts of the city. Three friends are hanging out on an old pier, the towers of new buildings are white under the blue sky, the boys are jumping into the water from the embankment. I don't know if the young director Aronofsky ("Pi") is familiar with Deineka's paintings, but for the first time since the Soviet artist's time I've encountered such a piercing picture of teenage happiness in fine art. /tvsuggestions

I remember this movie , the first time I saw him at school, the whole class took us to the cinema instead of some kind of lesson. The goal was to inform teenagers about HIV infection and drugs, to show the consequences. The effect was lifelong
