I get why you need to keep the exact algorithms for rewards (activity and invites in my case) secret, but it does frustrate me a bit. Also it seems a bit arbitrary when the activity score updates. Frustrating to watch my ranking sink without the score updating for at least 36+ hours. It's not the amount of USD that bothers me, but I am rather excited about gamification and want to do well 😆

It's based on inbound engagement. We only consider your top X casts. So once you've casted enough times, you have to have a cast that's better than your worst cast in the set.
