Holy crap! So if it looks like I'm going to run out, I could potentially pause and reload a new spool? This item isn't something that strucural rigidity is important. I haven't really printed too much; this is definitely the longest print time, and biggest mass of material. I guess from now on, I'll see how much material I need before firing one off LOL

you should be able to. some printers have a change filament function. make sure the pause function does not turn off the headed bed. the part can pop off if the bed changes temp. I have never done a filament change mid print but it should work. you might see a seam though
