I kind of thought this was the case tbh. I do have a pretty good understanding of when to buy or sell, I just can't bring myself to do the research, and have yet to find anyone I have enough faith in who does it(just from not particularly knowing them well) to put any faith into thier info

That might be a tad harsh but it’s very close in my opinion. It is so unreliable that it is largely just confirmation bias when it works.

I have a good friend who is a relatively successful trader but the TA he sends me end up being accurate less than half the time. It want more than a month or two ago I received TA showing WIF to $10, ETH to 4k, and SOL to $600 🙃

 Its easy af to describe what has happened. Imo opinion, it's exponentially more difficult to describe what is to come.

Charting is useful for explaining what happened. People often use it as a cheat code to know what's going to happen, but that's not what it is. It helps you understand what happened so you can hopefully make better informed guesses about what's going on.
