Time to share a personal story to go with the theme of this weeks /success rounds. 

Today has been 7 years to the day since the last time I used heroin. This is my mugshot from soon after the last time. 

I thought my life was fucking over at this point. Multiple felony charges and not a leg to stand on. 

Somehow today, I am free and clear with my record relatively in tact. I’m married to a girl I have been in love with since high school, and I’m working at a company that I love. Plus, I’m developing my independent skill set in a way that might lead to even more opportunities down the road.

Moral of the story is, it’s never too late to turn your life around.

Feels good man

I have been a lifelong opiate addict. Realized I needed to quit, and ended up at a methadone clinic. This didn't go so well, and was "quitting" for 3 more years. Finally, a potentially life ending event happened just under 2 years ago that knocked some sense into me. Been clean every since.

I was on 3 or 4 at the end. For months. Was just the habit of going there I think.

At first, it was like, "Woah. I can get HIGH AF for like $9. All fkn day"

Then it started to interfere with life and I realized I needed to stop.

Was on methadone for many years bro. Had to go down from 100mg to 3mg before I could jump off.

Only way I could do it. I’m a baby for withdrawals or maybe it’s just cause I know how easy the cure is.
