I think it's semantics in this case. Staking in crypto generally refers to participation in the consensus layer of a chain, generally with potential financial gain. Locking a set time period is a manner in which to attempt to control liquidity issues. Id suggest they are both generic stakes, or locks with rewards maybe a better definition. Degen, in the reward of an allo. Moxie in the lock ups with a multiplier reward.
