My favorite plant! Madagascar Palm (Pachypodium lamerei). Not a palm nor a cactus, but a succulent. Been with me for 8 years now!

Wow, your plant is thriving!! Is it hard to take care of this sort of succulent palm? I have never kept anything alive for more than 2 years, leave alone 8 🫠

It usually gets water by with the sporadic rains. It stores a lot inside (like all succulents).
And just to clarify, I live in Chaco - Argentina. Even though it's a humid area, in summer we have long periods without rain and temperatures over 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit).
