I love this one, it has the perspective of one of my fave Dali works, “Girl’s Back” and I have loved portraits from this angle.  I am so happy it is in my collection!

I just remembered that I saw that Dali painting when I was a kid — it was such a beautiful and emotional painting. I remember even as a child, it gave me a strange, deep feeling of sadness.

Dali was so good at strange feelings of sadness.  I saw this one in person maybe 20 years ago at the Dali Museum St. Petersburg, Florida.  It may still be there, I can't remember if it was part of their collection or just on temp display, but it made an impression on me
