A friend once told me how they were rushing to catch the bus one morning, running down the street with their bag barely zipped up. Just as they turned the corner, they saw the bus pull away. They stood there, breathless, watching it disappear in the distance. Frustrated, they had to wait another 20 minutes for the next one. It wasn’t the first time it happened, and probably not the last, but it taught them the value of setting their alarm just a few minutes earlier.
