It’s the unofficial coin for Farcaster to represent the DEcentralized GENeration of the future.  Some refer to it as the token of the degenerates.  My earlier comment and its specific format is known as a tip.  I just tipped you 100 of the coin.  In order to collect it, you have to lock at least 10,000 at DEGEN.tips and once a month, you can collect the tips you’ve been given at degen.tips as long as you continue to lock at least 10,000.  There are other coins that are tipped here on Farcaster.  However, degen is the most prevalent and I think the oldest on Warpcast.
