I really respect what foundation did with Genesis in testing if there’s appetite for 1/1s on l2.

@kayvon do you think you achieved sufficient prices relative to the artists mainnet work? Or is being on an l2 still a detractor from a pieces potential price?

Appreciate this, @mack. We smashed our internal targets.

Avg. sale price for GENESIS cleared 1 ETH easily, closer to 1.5 ETH.

And we had 375 bids placed across 128 unique bidders.

GENESIS proved two points emphatically:
- Collectors will spend real money on art on L2
- Bidding participation skyrockets on L2

This is great to hear- really opens things up. Excited to see more of it.
