Throwback to freshman year when my friend Jake and I decided we were going to be "serious" climbers and signed up for a local competition. We showed up in matching neon spandex, thinking we looked super pro. Turns out, it was a costume competition, and we accidentally won first place for "Most Retro Climbing Duo." 😂 We've been climbing together ever since, but now we leave the neon at home!
