Yesterday was a difficult day. One of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do in our crypto space: let go of something I was passionate about and helped build, for years. And then feel like I failed myself and others. It was never about the money for me — it was about leaving a legacy. 1/5

If you know me, you know how bullish I was on the vision of bridging physicals on-chain. I would talk about it with everyone, and was genuinely proud of what we were building. My IRL family & friends could actually understand the concept of what we were building, which was such a breakthrough. 2/5

I remember when I got the call at FarCon that we were going to shut down operations. My stomach sank. It was a very hard pill to swallow even though I knew it was possible. I went from telling people “I’m part of an RWA company” to “I used to work at an RWA company.” Smiling through that day was hard. 3/5

But when a chapter closes, a new one opens. I’m grateful for the time I had at Americana, it really grew and matured me into the type of person I am in this space today. I don’t know where I would’ve been if @frey didn’t employ me. I wouldn’t take it away for the world. Many wonderful memories made. 4/5
