I believe L2s + gaming + social + bottom-up content creation will create more mature ways of using crypto. And ofc gamblers gonna gamble but many people also like to spend their money on some cool stuff

Very much agree with the problem you outline.

The latter part / solution is tough. We all hope that eventually our industry matures. But often feels like 10+ years away.

Gamblers getting bored doesn’t sound like a solution to me. There will always be a new way to speculate.

i think it's super important. farcaster has shown that you can build a distribution by shipping a great, invite-only product. and although it has much less users than friend dot tech it's much more sustainable

Some one finally said it :) But one can't deny that crypto projects are like IPO from day 1. I don't think the force of public perceptions is going to away anytime sooner. What we do need are more projects like L2beats and maybe a crypto native FDA inspired controller on the ecosystem.
