Will web3 companies be able to monetise well one day? I see a huge number of web3 companies that I just don’t understand how they’ll make money. Even if what they’re doing is important.

Just started reading. Always wondered that about snap and how it ever justified its valuation. Think it’s still losing money today and no wonder it’s below ipo price.

Hmm yeah they've been around for long time and still haven't cracked it. But the trajectory looks good. Wondering if investors will have enough patience. https://i.imgur.com/3OQMfJT.png

Snap is doing ok - generated over $4B last year and almost $400M in adjusted EBITDA and positive free cash flow. It takes a long time to have the network kick in and then again for the monetization system. But when it works it works so well
