I wouldn't call them *favorite* (quite opposite) but def the ones most shocking since I could've watched them unfolding in real-time:

1) Snowden & NSA surveilling everyone,
2) COVID lab leak theory,
3) Church getting governments' approval to hide & protect pedophile priests from the law.

imagine if mcdonald's hired people who turned out to molest children, and because some ppl think mcdonald's provides so much value to our society, it could just move these people to other restaurants instead of firing them and sending them to the police.
