Can you create a Chainlink-like oracle network but with node operators staking ETH instead of LINK? Intuitively, the security budget of this oracle network would be higher with ETH than LINK

API3 has an interesting approach since they don't use third-party oracles at all

Very interesting. Will take a closer look at their whitepaper. Looks like the deployment in still in early stages, but API3’s GitHub is pretty active
