An incredible thing I noticed in Syria is that so much of the urban infrastructure is utterly destroyed yet people continue to live in the literal ruins. Yet even with no water, electricity, telecommunications, or other services people have tremendous dignity. It’s safe, they’re welcoming, everyone’s clothes are immaculately clean, and their kids go to school every day no matter what.

Man, its really something to think about. Even in these tough times, people havent  given up. Instead, they have chosen to rebuild it stronger, better, and more welcoming than before. Inshallah, the struggles of Syrians and everyone else going through hardship come to an end soon.
