In 2023, is WordPress still a good option for websites/blogs, or are SSGs like Hugo, Gatsby, Jekyll the way to go?

Or something else?

I'm still a big fan of SSGs to avoid lock-in. I've been running a Jekyll + GitHub site (murdo.xyz) for a few years now, only paying for my domain each year.
