Some projects thrive without traditional revenue streams, purely because of strong community backing. Wikipedia, for instance, relies on donations and volunteer efforts but remains one of the most visited sites globally thanks to its active editors. Similarly, open-source software like Linux and Apache are kept alive by passionate contributors without needing a “sustainable” revenue model. If Nouns hasn’t achieved this level of community over the years, that points to a clear gap in their community-building efforts.

These examples highlight the power of community-driven projects. It's crucial for Nouns to reassess their community-building strategies to foster a more engaged and dedicated following.
