Right now, I didn’t see fully generated 3D worlds, but there is some interesting things to try if you mix unreal engine for an evolutive environment + AI to play with the texture/rendering. 3D characters are quite low in quality too for the moment, but I don’t give much time before 3D garments fully generated

I was about to send the link of Jack Conte’s talk at SXSW but I saw it at the end of the article! Nice essay, I totally share your pov. But I think one easier shift to help niche communities is new social media platforms, as we see the rise of emerging ideas. Discord was a very good solution for niche Internet places

You can generate 360° images to use as an HDRI backdrop in a 3D scene for example. Usually it’s not matching on the sides but add the image on photoshop, put the part that need to be merged and generate it with firefly to have a seamless image. Then upload it on magnific, and enjoy it on your VR headset!

One of my first crush on ArtBlocks was from @Samsy, Jiometory No Compute. The aesthetic was really new and unique to me, and keeping something in common between all generations. But the impressive part was also the motion of the pieces and the fact that it’s interactive. It was truly a « living » painting for me.
