crazy. Masochist stack IMO, but this just proves that you shouldn't fixate on the stack, just ship. At least if we are talking about this kind of goal. The goal of shipping different ideas fast, validating if they work, rinse and repeat

Honestly having come from this background and being comfortable with these tools, I'll take this over getting stuck on some Next.js configuration bug any day.

The plain CSS part in particular feels very unproductive to me in his stack :D Heck even tailwind feels unproductive. Once you try typesafe css in js like Chakra-ui or PandaCSS, you cannot go back really

I did use jquery back in the day, and I did write plain CSS in a time when IDEs had no synthax checking, autocomplete etc (same time when we had to fix IE6 specific bugs), but I also started using nextjs since it came out around 2014 - 2015 ish, so got used to it by now. But PHP I never understood. I mean I did some minor stuff for wordpress, and worked a bit with laravel. But I would rather use node to have everything in typescript. The rest of his stack is fine tbh. sqlite is cool, and I heard that latest jquery is actually decent

Haha, I'm the opposite, hense there's "JS maxi" in my bio. I live an breathe JS/TS and front-end tools :D So yeah I guess the lesson here is just use tools that allows you to build it in the most efficient way, and ignore the trends
