Was listening to the Lightspeed podcast about Stripe on Solana and they mentioned this about Base which I hadn't even hear about before.. "Base left an endpoint to their sequencer public so people could see the sequencer's mempool" - which led to someone just sandwiching transactions. This has since been fixed.
