it seems to be mostly centered on mitigating aspects of MEV & censorship resistance. not sure if there's other tradeoffs w/ optimism (https://docs.monad.xyz/technical-discussion/consensus/carriage-cost-and-reserve-balance)

conceptually i understand it but have no frame of reference technically on what you sacrifice with incentives/finality/reorgs when you split transaction ordering from execution

but i do feel pretty confident than nothing in crypto is really bottlenecked by TPS lol - we just haven’t built enough stuff people want yet
