though, tbqh, I'd love to see epaulettes instead of just a box. weight should be distributed, and there's more surface area to fit peripheral charging like earbuds or glasses when not in use. not sure about heat dissipation though.

100%, I leapt at "diadem" but for the right circumstance, a fullblown hat/helmet/visor can carry a lot of sensory input. 

not sure if baseball caps are nominal, but they definitely have a lot to work with.

Speaking of baseball hats and tech like this. I still surprised no one has made a hat or bill clip on that has bright IR LEDs so that cameras can’t recognize you.
