imho, fission-powered economy is indistinguishable from a ZIRP-powered economy. except for the longer half-life.

look respectfully this is word soup the fed handing out free money is a political decision. Uranium handing out carbon-free energy is a fact of physics. the situations are pretty different

fair point, but I'd say that ZIRP is the realized half-life of a democratic economy where citizens learn they can vote themselves largesse from the national treasury (which is fiscal, but still connected to monetary policy). granted, it's slightly more stochastic than nuclear physics.
