How often do you say the word “interesting” in conversation? 

My friend remarked last night that it’s a vague filler word, and he’s right. I use it that way far too often.

It’s sort of like how startups call themselves a “platform.” Doesn’t mean anything.

our spoken language is full of so many filler words. i don't think they're all necessarily bad, but good to be aware of, especially if you want to be more precise

I think the toughest part is there's no one alternative! It's used as a catch-all for a lot of different things
