Unfortunately art and culture as well as technology are often misused to just extract money. I remember the gen. NFT times where everyone “loved” the art when it was profitable and then shit on everything once the floorprice decreased. I don’t expect genuinity from 99% of the space.

I agree with you 100%. It is just getting difficult when narratives are made by the majority. The 1% feels kind of isolated. I questioned myself a lot of times because I missed out on very profitable projects because I didn’t want to participate in BS. It hurts when you see that scammers get praised.

The 1% need to identify, support each other and organize themselves in order to be a counterweight in a space that is full of greed and manipulation.

The space is full of humans.  Humans are complex.  Survival instincts tied to monetary value have historically brought up the worst in humans.   That being said,  I expect a balance. I expect bravery, I expect integrity from that 1% to not sit idle & quiet & empowering the ones continuing the ingenuity. Or why we here
