Archeologists have discovered 303 new Nazca glyphs using drones and AI— nearly doubling the number known in just 6 months. With the discovery comes new insight regarding the function of the mysterious symbols.. https://www.forbes.com/sites/carlymiller/2024/09/29/ai-discovers-303-nazca-geoglyphs-from-aerial-photos-of-the-peruvian-desert/

What the AI has identified as potential geoglyphs and what archaeologists have discovered using traditional methods in Nazca seem quite different. I noticed the article doesn't mention Greenpeace vandalism in 2015, which had a direct impact on the land. The AI-identified geoglyphs are still flagged as potential geoglyphs so until that validation is complete, I'm going to remain cautious about trusting the algorithm.
