Imagine an advanced alien civilization.

It's hard for me to imagine without some technologies. It must have some forms of AI, it must have some forms of robust smart contracts, it must have encryption.

Are they using paper money? Paper ballots for elections? What else seems implausible?

Btw, it's us. We are the advanced alien civilization, in the future.

You know how we document code so that a new person without any context will be able to read it and understand what it does? That person is us, in the future. Every time.
