Even if the owners have been disappointing the fans, that's got nothing to do with the manager. Only Chelsea have chopped and changed managers and still delivered success. Every other club has kept faith, even City with Mancini then Pep,Liverpool with Klopp.

It takes a special kind of fan to shit on your all time goalscorer and scapegoat him when the team's not won anything for almost 6 decades

Broadly speaking Spurs are doing fine. Underlying XG, XGA and PPDA look fine, even if results aren't showing it. The concern is more that players need to fix the complacency that makes them switch off and coast after one good half. Energy levels also seem to dip at the 55-75 min mark, more pro-active substitutions and periodization can solve this. The number of soft tissue injuries is a concern and while a lot of people are whining about Werner, considering the injuries to Son, Odebert, Richarlison, it's looking like the cover was needed.

I don't think Ange's system rewards the strikers with goals as much as the midfielders TBH. The striker is kind of the decoy pulling defenders out of position for the midfielders and inverted wingbacks to attack the space. Kane's finishing could make it work, but I've not seen Solanke show he can be that prolific yet, though it could be a confidence/recovering from injury thing.

For FPL, I'm not so sure about Solanke, he does well at things like pressing and forcing turnovers that FPL doesn't reward! Not as many assists and goals, I'd say Delap is a great value pick on current form. As a focal point, all of Ipwich's attacks go through him and only owned by 4.7% of players. decent fixture list in front of him too. For Spurs at the moment. I'd go Johnson (still only selected by 4.5%), though I'm not sure if this will jinx his form. Kulusevski has been dominant but again, doing things that FPL doesn't reward.

Sarr would have also provided more energy to cover on the left as a spare man to mark Mitoma.

Not much to analyze past the 3rd goal, in terms of game state and momentum Spurs are done. Postecoglou talks about substitutions not changing much & I see his point, but you can't tell me Bissouma for Bentacur wouldn't have helped.

Also, sick of "world cup winning" tag, as if that means anything. Hugo Lloris was a World Cup winning captain and that didn't stop people from wanting him to leave. Djimi Traoré is a Champions League winner…

I'm a fan of Romero when he's focused and aggressive. He sometimes goes overboard but we need a player with that kind of aggression and will to win. This is not that Romero.

Gets nutmegged in the next sequence of play to the byline. Bentacur half asses a block without even stretching a sinew while Romero wonders what to put on his playlist to Argentina.

3rd goal is a comedy of errors. Udogie is lackadaisical about the ball conceding a throw in.
