How I used computers to make art 30 years ago: 1) Design artwork in black and white in Adobe Illustrator 2) Print artwork in sections on 8.5 x 11" paper via laser printer 3) Photocopy laser prints onto transparencies 4) Tape together transparencies to recreate artwork 5) Coat silkscreen with photo emulsion 6) Place artwork transparency on screen and expose to UV light 7) Rinse out photo emulsion stencil 8) Prepare ink 9) Squeegee ink through silkscreen to print artwork 10) Let ink dry and repeat as needed for additional layers/colors
