Cherry blossoms are fleeting blooms—a timeless reminder of "mono no aware", the gentle sadness of impermanence. In Japan, their short life isn’t mourned—it’s celebrated.

They mark the arrival of spring, fresh beginnings, and the joy of hanami — gathering under the trees to be.

A delicate bloom, lit from within.
A fleeting moment, held in light.

I see! We had a quick blossom 2 days ago but there was a freezing night yesterday that slowed down the process. Spring gives me always that bittersweet vibes.

I am in New York, 30 miles north of the City. The blossoms are not ready here. These are from last spring. But as we approach Sakura season here, I will be dropping these regularly.
