Conversation with my artists friends: Some times I think of myself as a photographer who work better with black and white. I have my idea of dark black and and clearly a bright white in my mind. That’s my favorite setting. But strangely I’m also very attracted by color photography, I consider myself a beginner with colors. For example in this photo I just thought that the kimono was very well paired with the train blue stripe. Then I go for it and like after 2 minutes I’m already thinking that I messed up. What’s your relationship with colors? How do you manage them? Btw I dropped this one on Rodeo https://rodeo.club/post/0x774AF410e8053c9f733620Fe71bfCDdF754F8609/111

You’re right fren I guess this shot will be great in bnw too because of the motion of the train but I truly love its color version, as well Btw, I personally try not to omit the color from my shots unless it’s needed (for example if I want to highlight the forms and texture). Other than that, I’m more into a colorful geometric world in my photography journey 😍 Cheers 🤍

You manage the colors so well Nilo. Especially love your “red”. Sometimes I see the strength of a shot into the colors, but I can’t see very well the real meaning. As you also said, colors are needless when you want to highlight the forms and texture and probably they are the only things I’m seeing into a photograph.

Every photographer has his/her unique view based on attitudes, background and the society they live in, and this is what makes it intriguing 💙
