I feel like we are currently in the TikTok doomscrolling era of crypto art, where few are seeking connections with art and artists and the focus is on quantity over quality. We need this trend to fade away and for attention to return to art. But how can we get there? Is it simply a matter of time? Will this ever even happen? Has the paradigm shifted?

Gm Sebas nice topic but difficult to say honestly. I think we’re into an irreversible trend so it’s better if we adapt to it instead of waiting for a change.

This is absolutely true! Every form of art have its own space and time and I am sure that everything is collocated in the right place when it’s time to sell. Look at the fashion field: one time we had only tailors, now we have tailors, big brands, medium brands and fast fashion brands and all have their own space. Of course the tailors are struggling because people are not used to wait months for a suit but they’re still there and they’re growing recently because they’re using strategy to make their job faster. Adapt means walk towards the change, if we wait that things change I’m not sure they will for us. They just evolve.

Are we really? I kinda feel many trends seem irreversible at first until the next big thing suddenly appears. The truth is many artists won't be able to make it in such a fast paced reward system, good art sometimes takes a lot of time to craft and I believe there must be room for those people as well.
