Possibly in the not too far distant future, we'll look towards building AI data centers in space, in GEO/LEO, on asteroids, and other moons & planets etc -- and look less towards using the existing resources on earth to construct gigantic electricity hogging data centers

I think as is the case with all technology; The answer continues to be a resounding yes and no
