You're never going to please everyone. No matter what you do or how you act there will always be people who simply disagree with you or generally just don't like you. Just keep being your authentic self and trust thats going to beat out any negativity in the end.

Lot of wisdom here! I learned this a decade ago and I can add to this that once you become aware of this, your life will get better and you’ll be free from social anxiety.
