I don’t understand the hate on this. Is this the same as at the beginning of the AirPods where people though they looked weird and now it’s totally fine?

Human brains are hardwired to be incredibly judgey about people’s eyes. Too close together , too far apart, too squinty, different shape etc. lots of studies in this area, they think it’s evolution mechanism to detect disease in potential partners. i.e. eyes must be perfect or they look offensive.
